Is It Really That Strong?

A jeep sitting on COFFEEBOXXes. No, you’re not seeing things, and no this isn’t something we magically photoshopped together.

Now you’re probably wondering what possessed the OXX Team to park a jeep on four COFFEEBOXXes in the first place. Other than being wicked awesome, we wanted to prove a point: the COFFEEBOXX is built tough. But when we say tough, what does that really mean?

While designing the COFFEEBOXX, OXX wanted to build beyond rugged. To do that, we needed innovative design. That’s why the COFFEEBOXX was built with interior structural ribbing to give the unit’s chassis its incredible strength. At only 12lbs, the COFFEEBOXX is able to hold a 1,500lb load (that’s more than your standard horse).

So why build so tough you ask? Because we saw a need. A build-the-worlds-toughest-coffee-maker kind of need. We realized that some people can’t use a coffee maker made strictly for countertop use. Between heavy use and far-from-gentle handling, those products just don’t cut it. People needed something that could take a hard shove and get right back up. They needed an appliance built with durability that made use easy and worry-free. That idea is what started OXX, and we worked together to fill that need.

To answer your question (we know you’re thinking it): Yes, you can throw your COFFEEBOXX into the back of your truck, and yes, you can stand on it when you can’t reach something. But never forget—whenever you want a great cup of hot, fresh coffee, we’ve got your back.

No, we’re not suggesting that you always store your COFFEEBOXX under the wheels of a Jeep Wrangler, but if you want to, you can. Just promise to send us a picture when you’re done, okay?
